Have a roof leak? We provide 24/7 leak repairs  The inspection of the roof system includes a visual examination of the surface materials, connections, penetrations and roof drainage systems. We examine the roofing material for damage and deterioration. We examine the roof system for possible leaks, damage and conditions that suggest limited remaining service life.

CHIMNEY INSPECTION & CLEAN

Your chimney and flue will be serviced by a fully insured, qualified, experienced and accredited member of the Australian Home Heating Association Inc. (AHHA), so you can be assured that all work will be carried out to the highest industry standards.

SOLAR PANEL INSPECTION & CLEAN

Solar panel cleaning is best left to the professionals—most solar panels are located on roofs or hard-to-reach places that require special equipment

7-Point Safety Check

A full 7-point safety check of the switchboard and each landlord supplied electrical appliance, including a comprehensive compliance check of the property against the Australian Standards.

GAS SAFETY CHECK

A Gas safety check inspects for gas leaks, carbon monoxide emissions, safe operation of gas appliances, the efficiency of gas appliances, correct installation and compliance, a pressure test on gas lines and more. All property owners are recommended to have their gas appliances including hot water systems and heaters inspected by a qualified gas plumber every two years.

We carry out gas safety checks on all gas appliances including gas room heaters, pool heaters, ducted gas heating, gas stoves and cookers, gas hot water systems and more.

  • Inspect gas heater and carry out general service

  • Visually inspect heat exchanger for cracks
    Clean, vacuum and remove build-up of fluff and dust from fans and filters

  • Inspect pilot injector, fan and main burner

  • Visually inspect flue system for corrosion, holes, blockages, and obstructions

  • Check operation of flame safeguard

  • Carry out combustion emission check

  • Cycle appliance on/off to ensure correct operation and that ignition is smooth

GAS HEATER SERVICE + CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR INSTALL

A thorough service of the gas heater by a licensed gasfitter is the best way to prepare for winter and ensure the heater is operating efficiently and safely in the property.

Installing a carbon monoxide detector provides increased protection for your family.

Carbon Monoxide is a poisonous gas. Any fuel burning appliance can produce CO emissions which are colourless, odorless and tasteless. The only way to detect carbon monoxide is by installing a CO alarm.

Our qualified and licensed gasfitters can install a battery operated CO detector and ensure it is operating properly.

HOT WATER SERVICE SPECIAL

Remember that like a car or any machinery your gas heater requires servicing to ensure that it is running efficiently. Servicing also helps to detect any issues that could become a major problem if unattended to. Important things to monitor are gas pressure, leaks and that the pilot light is working correctly.

We recommend servicing your Hot Water System once a year.

  • Carry out annual service as per manufacturers recommendations
  • Date of Manufacture recorded
  • Visually inspect hot water service and pipe work for correct operation
  • Ensure correct operation of gas burner or electric element and the thermostat

Under this service, we will:

  • Carry-out unlimited smoke alarm compliance inspections to ensure smoke alarms are compliant with current legislation, including re-attendance when beeping or faulty alarms require attention
  • Service, clean and maintain all smoke alarms and change 9 volt batteries where required
  • Ensure all smoke alarms meet AS 3786 
  • Replace any faulty, expired, missing or damaged 9 volt, 240 volt or 10 year lithium-battery operated smoke alarms if required by legislation
  • Install any additional 9 volt, 240 volt or 10 year lithium-battery operated smoke alarms in order for property to comply with current legislation
  • Send a compliance report following each inspection 
  • Provide a 24/7 Emergency Service for sounding smoke alarms requiring attention~
